Walking into lebua, a premiere Bangkok hotel, we were met with understated elegance. The décor is warm and rich but not flashy – the epitome of luxury international style. Attendants were on hand while we awaited lebua Sales Executive, Ms. Acharee Joonjaidee.
Ms. Joonjaidee toured us through the three styles of suites offered at lebua, starting with lebua's single executive suite. We entered into the suite's seating area, replete with TV and DVD player, welcome chocolates, complimentary daily fresh fruit and daily newspaper. The spacious bathroom has a separate full shower and full bath. An amazing touch was an array of Bvlgari toiletries! The bedroom is awash in sunlight from floor-to-ceiling-window balcony doors framing an unblocked view of Bangkok stretching to the horizon. The bedroom has its own TV with DVD player. All suites have 24 hour complimentary Internet access.
lebua's 186 m² two-bedroom executive suite has a stylish and spacious living area with plush, large sofas. Floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies mean full sunlight and 180 degree views of the city.
The 266 m² three-bedroom executive suite is quite an experience. The huge space contains loads of stylish oversize sofas and balconies with views to die for. The master bedroom even has a walk-in closet.

Ms. Joonjaidee then introduced lebua's restaurants. The outdoor Sirroco Restaurant and Sky Bar at the 64th floor atop the hotel are famous in Bangkok, with unbelievable views, nightly live jazz and Mediterranean fare. Distil offers light fare, drinks, an outdoor seating area with lounging cushions and, of course, more amazing views. Gourmet Italian restaurant Mezzaluna offers live music. The sophisticated Ocean 52 serves dim sum. Breeze, lebua's Asian seafood restaurant, is reached by walking outdoors onto a raised glowing walkway. Café Mozu is straight from the Middle East with flowing swags, intricate lanterns and colorful pillows on lounging cushions. The restaurant offers a complimentary breakfast buffet – from six till eleven a.m!
Café Mozu nestles beside lebua's stunning swimming pool and Jacuzzi. lebua's fitness centre offers rows of quality work-out equipment and personal trainers. lebua's spa offers private rooms for massages and treatments.
Ms. Joonjaidee, gracious and informative, was a splendid host. As we sipped cool water from crystal glasses, Ms. Joonjaidee pointed out lebua's great location on Silom Road, a top Bangkok entertainment, shopping and nightlife area. lebua is only a five minute walk to Saphan Taksin BTS Sky Train station. lebua's complimentary Sky Train shuttle runs from seven a.m. to five p.m. The nearby expressway provides direct transport between lebua and Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
